The Farmer Journal is a page dedicated to stories related to agriculture, along with summarized research drawn from reports by international institutions. It is a place where I share what I have studied and read, weaving these insights into simple narratives that I try to write in an accessible way.
The stories you read here are the result of my efforts outside of my daily work on the farm and my teaching responsibilities. I acknowledge openly that my articles may contain gaps or points that need improvement. I warmly welcome and appreciate feedback or suggestions for corrections.

What is Organic Farming?
Organic farming is an agricultural method based on natural principles that protects soil, water, biodiversity, and the environment. Scientists confirm the environmental benefits of organic agriculture, but economic researchers also warn about agricultural economic challenges such as low yields, market price competition, and the pressure of global climate change.
What are Chemical Fertilizers?
Fertilizer is an indispensable food for plants. All living organisms on Earth cannot survive without food, and similarly, plants cannot grow and thrive without nutrients. In 1828, German agricultural scientist Carl Sprengel formulated a theory stating that plant growth is dictated by the essential nutrient present in the most limiting quantity. This concept became known as the “Law of the Minimum”.

What are Microorganisms?
Microorganisms (microbes) are microscopic living organisms that cannot be seen or observed with the naked eye. Microorganisms exist everywhere—in soil, water, air, and inside all living creatures, including humans. Some have asserted that microbes are the origin of all things, and living nature cannot survive without them. Microorganisms share a profound and vital relationship with both nature and humanity.
Life on the Farm
Like many other farmers, life on our plantation requires immense hard work, physical strength, and high attention to our crops. From dawn until dusk, season after season, we witness the cycle of nature—from the tiny seeds to sprouts, growing into branches, budding leaves, blooming flowers, bearing fruit, and eventually ripening and returning to the earth.
